Strengths:

Ambitious: There are dreams that he wishes to achieve; it is something that requires nothing more than devotion and confidence. Matthias always wants to obtain the greater good, even if it benefits no one other than himself.

Tenacious: To complement his ambitious attribute, virtually nothing would deter him. He is, in other words, extremely stubborn and is constantly fueled by that perpetual vigor embedded in his personality. It would sully his honor if he were to back down so easily.

Optimistic: When he can, he prefers to look at the brighter views of things. Usually, it is powdered with good humor and a wide smile, even if a good handful is bitter and half-hearted. He extremely hates the idea of failing and would always find a way to get over it or find something that would substitute that failure.

Perceptive: Despite appearing a bit daft, Matthias isn't just an empty shell. He is a man who grew up from rough and wary hands. At times he would muse on his own, silently cogitating about his well-being and the constitution of the the family. Rarely, would he show this side in the presence of others but this way of thinking yields key importance to his actions. Truth be told, he is a bit unpredictable, though. He exemplifies his thoughts through his conducts and they are basically executed upon whim.

Brazen: Lastly, he is way too loud for anything. He is a proud individual, whimsical, and bold. It is his the aura he gives off that binds the family together (at times, Matthias getting hurt is the way to keep the others content).

Weaknesses:

Blood-thirsty: As the head, he developed a sort of creed for violence. His prowess is exceptional and he continues to roam and do things that would invoke a sort of challenge. Matthias' mind is geared with a passion to overtake to escalate his self-esteem. His limbs ache for a good physical challenge and he would - by any means possible - act to concrete victory.

Defiant: He grew up to hold the virtue of 'pride' very closely. If he could edit the Ten Commandments, he would add 'Thou shall not sully Matthias' pride', lest a straightaway ticket to hell. His temper, if tampered with enough, can reach to an indescribable chokehold where things truly end tragically.

Selfish: Many times, he does not think of others. He would be so succumbed into that creed that he would entirely forget those who love him. Matthias constantly thinks of himself and what he can achieve.

Possessive: Matthias truly struggles with being more flexible. Honestly, he would never work well alone, therefore he prefers to be in a group with the exception that he leads. Ultimately, he takes pride in what he has, owns, and who he commands. He would even treat people like objects when he is in a bad mood.

Careless: Blatant, loud, and zealous, Matthias usually acts without much caution. He has haphazard whims and can execute them without a second thought.

Personality: Matthias is probably one of the most laid-back dons. He usually has a chipper demeanor and it would also frequently be a bit smug. His pompous behavior is not obvious, but apparent of one knows him well. Matthias fancies the thought of being the 'big brother' figure and would sometimes treat the other members with a lot of humor. At times, stress branches out to two outcomes. Agitation usually concludes with violence and abuse. Melancholy would stimulate lusty behavior, promoting provocative intentions towards other.

All in all, he is a really sociable and a personable guy aside from his twisted shades. He grins very often, heartily laughs a lot, and would be glad to talk over a mug of beer.

History: Born in Copenhagen in a prominent family, he was raised up until adolescence with a shaky background. Constantly, he would always fall as a victim of being the speculator. His father would constantly beat his mother, quarrel with his uncles and the rest of the family. It was clear cut that Matthias developed most of his father's mannerisms and would sometimes even add to the mishaps. He loved his parents but admired his father's violent swagger. He would be so infatuated that he would forget that his mother, the woman whom he still loves so much, was the one heavily affected.

After his father realized Matthias' potential, he personally kidnapped his son at the age of eleven and ran away with 80% of the wealth his family owned to live in Medezka. He revealed to young Matthias that he is a member of a mafia, posing as the right-hand man to the gruff and intimidating head. At the simple age of eleven, he was indeed oblivious and daft but has this genuine determination the head of the mafia loved.

Eventually, Matthias considered the head more or less of a respectful grandfather, though he opted to call him "gramps" instead. After losing his father in a turf war, he had no choice but to cling on to the don until the age of eighteen, where the old man passed. Matthias was exalted into the position of the head through the fore-bearer's will.

Often, would he think of his mother. Matthias is too stubborn and a bit ashamed to return to Denmark, fearing that his family would hate him for siding with his father.

Other Important Info: -He drinks way too much beer

-He really, really doesn't like animals. Matthias is alright with dogs and cats but moose and a flock of birds are 'agents sent by Satan himself'.

-He thinks he can draw but he really can't.

-He's a bit forgetful, although it would sometimes be so constant that it might as well be deemed deliberate...

-He wears glasses to read. Without them, he would have to hunch up and stick his face to the page to actually read; that would usually lead to misconceptions.

Roleplay Sample: A breath.

The plume curled and fluttered away from his chapped lips. The ashen zest still on his tongue, he led the cigarette back between his teeth. He inhaled, allowing the nicotine to harden those blank, azure blue eyes and pacify that irksome thought in his mind. Thank God for smokes. He nearly forgot what had pissed him off.

Those eyes watched as the smoke coiled, dancing in the air before thinning, dispersing, diffusing into nothing more than a smell. He snorted, his lips pursed into a half-hearted grin as he tossed the cig. The second it fell in contact with the ground, he grated it with his sleek black shoe.

He whistled, crooning to the Autumn breeze that brushed through his features. The chills kissed his skin, filtered the residue of nicotine from his nostrils, and cleared his mind. Damn. He wouldn't have wasted a cigarette had he known Nature's breath is the remedy to a bad day.
